December 17, 2011. Willow Bend celebrated their first Christmas with a resident and family party. The residents practiced together to present a singing program of their favorite Christmas songs, and family, friends and Employee Partners joined in. The residents requested a Chaplin read the Christmas Story during their program. Employee Partners, management and families provided the wonderful desserts and punch afterwards. And of course, what is a Christmas party without a visit from Santa!

June 21, 2010: Dr. Sandra Petersen, DNP, APRN, presented a seminar on Alzheimer's Care to the Denton Support Groups at the Hilton Inn in Denton, TX. Willow Bend Assisted Living and Memory Care Community sponsored this well attended seminar for the caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer's disease. Willow Bend provides a small environment for Memory Care residents with 24 apts and 51 apts for Assisted Living residents.
